On November 28, I purchased an Executive Package from Save Avenue, Inc. To create a Web Page store and paid $2,495.00. I was told this amount was refundable.
After several months of no sales, I contacted their sales personnel and asked to have my refund of the purchase price. I was told I had to wait exactly 12 months.
So on November 28 I called and was told that I did not qualify for a refund because they did not have a signed copy of the "GUARANTEE" page in my folder.
When I was sent the welcome package from Save Avenue, there were instructions as to all the paperwork that was needed to be sent back enclosed in a sealed catalog type package.
I have a copier at home and immediately made copies of all paperwork, signed them and sent them back within the first two days.
In one of my many, many calls to my "coach", I was advised that there was no W-9 form in my file, so once again I copied the page, signed it and returned it within one day. Nothing was mentioned about the "GUARANTEE" page, but they knew that I wanted to terminate my membership and it was required to receive the refund.
I thought I did everything right. I was wrong, because I trusted them to play fair.
