I contacted this company to help me with a predatory lending situation on 6/28/07. I, like I am sure so many others, were desperate to find ways to save my home from foreclosure due to outrageous climbing mortgage payments on an prepayment penalty - Option ARM. If you search the web site for "Predatory Lending" help. This company comes up as an advocate group. It has a web site that shows the steps one would go through to get through their processes to finalization. They show there are five steps, 1) A complete audit of your mortgage file; 2) a client consultation and advisory; 3) a petition filed with Advocate Attorney; and 4) Litigation and stay of future payments - could take up to 18 months. With this said, all I ever received from these people was what they called an "audit report." This consisted of a pat 30 page report template report. I did not even receive any kind of consultation. After these people received my money and sent out a report that I could take no where. I received no other assistance.
Before signing on with these people, I discussed all of their processes with their representative, and was advised I had a really good case that any attorney would prosecute. I have found out that there is no attorney in the state of Arizona nor any other state that would handle a case like this. I told my representative I was requesting a refund. I was called by their (so called) supervisor on 7/19/07 and was told there is no way I will receive a refund, that I got what I paid for. But in the end all I got was a worthless report that no attorney would take as a case. They said that there was no support for their findings.
do not allow these people to rip you off if you are looking for help with being a victim of a predatory lender! They will take you to the cleaners for a sum of just about $1,000. You won't be a victim just once. But add Nations Audit Group so you can become a victim twice!
I also contacted an attorney regarding Nations Audit Group. He told me to send him my documents, and he would review them. After reviewing them he called me and told me that their program, in essence, is no more than a "scam" and if they had any money... He would go after them. But they are a small time operation, and there is no money to go after.
BEWARE!!! These people are lower than low, and the are out there preying on people who are already in desperate need of a resolution to a sad and heart wrenching problem! I have filed complaints with both the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General on this company.
