American grant called me one day and told me that I was guaranteed a 5,000 grant to do whatever I wanted to with and did not have to pay back. Well since I was A young mom with 2 small children that money would have helped ssooo much! I trusted that man I spoke to. How can someone take money away from a family already struggling financially but I do believe that when you do mean hateful things you will get it back 100 fold. He sounded like he was from another country he promised me that all I had to do was pay 249.00 and they would mail me the packet.
So I paid the fee and I did receive my packet but it took about 2 months to get well once I tried to contact them about the grant I never ever could get back in touch with anybody. Well thats when I realized that I got scammed! I went to my bank but there was nothing my bank could do because it had been longer than I believe 60 days maybe 90 days, its been almost 3 years since it happened! If this has happened to anyone please go immediately to your bank!
