Juniper charged my account a late fee of $39 because they claimed that they did not receive my payment until after the due date. My payments are mailed by my bank and according to my bank it was sent approximately 2 weeks before the due date. My bank had a conference call with representatives from Juniper explaining to them that the payment was sent approximately 2 weeks before the due date and they did not understand why it took so long for them to post. According to their representative the post date is the same as the date they received it but they did not provide any other evidence to support their claim. My bank requested several times that they waive the late fee because I and the bank had done everything within our power to have the payment delivered to them on time, however, they would not waive the fee. I think this is a way for them to get additional monies from customers. I paid more than the minumum amount but by the time they added the late fee then it took up almost the whole payment I sent to them. I am very dissatisfied and the supervisor for the customer service was rude and not very nice. I tried to get the name of the President of the company and she refused to give it to me. Further, I can not find it on the website. She did give me an address to the Executive Office which is as follows: P.O. Box 8885, Wilmington, Delaware 19899. However, I want to write the President of the company and express my dissatisfication regarding their customer service.
