In August I called Dish Network to cancel service.
The agent suggested I suspend instead of cancel in case I did not like DirectTV.
She did not advise me that I would be billed automatically 6 months later.
I had such a bad experience with Dish that I thought well maybe I might have a similar one with Direct.
I did not. Direct was so much better, so I did not call Dish back to reactivate my service.
Their tech was in company uniform and did a wiring job that made Dish look like kindergarten. He made a mess, his wiring was novice and he simply did not look professional.
They billed me and were paid for 6 months.
I travel and my assistant pays my bills.
She paid this.
I detected the error and called them.
They refused to refund all the months that I paid while not getting service.
They did agree to gp back 3 months, but since I did not pay the 3rd month (thank god) they could only refund 2 months.
There is good reason I left Dish and I know that it was poor customer service from the very beginning now til the very end.
Do not do business with dish.
