I built my on-line resume using career builders and yahoo hot jobs.in a day or two I had replies to my submission. There were e-mails that were similar from three different "companies" all asking mostly if I'd be interested in higher education with, according to their insinuations on theirinteractive application, "... Online universities that would match..." my interests and "... Our company values higher education..." hint hint.
World Voice News was the main replier with calls for interview set-ups and more on-line questionaires.
TooSpoiled.com replied with an almost exact form letter with the same "... Values higher education..." hint, hint again.
I have fielded more calls from Slippery Rock University and their clone "schools" about basket-weaving and lawn ornamental art than I have about employment! This is not the jist of the rip-off. When I opened my cell phone bill it was tripled! And I have free-incoming calls, which means unless I'm making calls I don't know about, then somebody has found a way to bill my cell number! I'm currently dealing with Sprint Nextel about the disputed calls, but having to do this takes away valuable job search time (as does this fuming rant!) to get employed to pay for the $365.00 monthly phone bill!!!
Then I google the World Voice News and find 500 recent complaints where people say "Phew I'm glad I didn't give them my number" and other postings of people luckier than me and think WTF? Wouldn't it be nice if everybody went into this muck at least referred to the rants against these slime-balls beforehand and not have to deal with this time-consuming expensive exercise in exploitation?
