Everyone read this true story, perhaps you can help many people. Do you know were the owners are??? Do you know who they are???

It is out of pure frustration that we have had to result to advertising for someone from the Company Royal Holidays to stand up and listen to the wrongs that are being done under this operating name, and others.

Our story is just one of at least 500 plus that I know of, and they all basically say the same thing. And wow its growing every day by at least 2 or 3 in the past few weeks.

Its all about mis-representations to get one to buy into their plan.
Not only mistruths, but the leaving out of important information that one needs to know in order to make a sound decision, but not knowing that, because of the wrong information they have purposely been told. Look that definition up in the dictionary and see if you can find one word to match!!!

Here is out story in brief. You may pick up on some sacrasms here, I hope you get a chuckle or two while reading this, its called black humor, policeman use it for stress release.

Ixtapa, at the Barcello resort. Now apparently called Park Royal.
After almost 2 beautiful weeks of holidaying at another Resort, we decide we want to see were we should stay next year. We wander into the Barcello were we are greeted by a man in uniform, like most of the bell boys (men) wear. We tell him we are wanting to see the rooms in case this is were we may choose to stay next year while on holidays.
Obliging us, he takes us to a great room, its clean, it's fresh and bright, has cooking facitlities, with table and chairs and dishes, a living room area with patio doors to the pool, 2 washrooms, and 2 queen size beds in a raised area off of the eating area. Its the prettiest room I have ever seen in Mexico.
I say to my husband, yep honey this is were I want to stay. (Note we live by a bit of a budget, unlike movie stars)

The mans says you like this room aye? We say yes but they all can't be like this. He says oh yes in this section they are and you can stay here, you come with me.
Then comes the introductions to our Royal Holiday personel. (we did not really know they were not staff at this hotel) a few hours later, we leave this place, less about 10,000.00 US dollars, with a promise to give them 5000.00 some odd more in a couple of months and then a monthly fee until we would have spent over 25,000.00. Which is no problem because in 30 years our children will inherit that back.

(This too is very doubtful, anyone ever heard of an investment company named Granthix, sounds like a medication for heartburn thats the name of ours other folks have certificates from other investment companies)

Now thats okay because we are thrilled with knowing we can take holidays every year now to our favorite place and stay at the really nice room I have just seen. And we can turn our 30 year contract into 15 years or less, if we use up our points faster.in 30 years, my husband and I will not be around to take anything, let alone a holiday.interest free, they get to use that money. Now all we have to do, is pay 640.00 US a year. This is going to be enough for us and another couple to have 2 weeks vacation, and any one of their many resorts. Or pay another 640.00 US and take 4 weeks a year. Not true. Get the full "operating rules" long afterwards in the resort listing guide and we can not do this.

Now, this book and when we got it is another deceitful thing. You see, your told you can not have or even peek into this book until your a member, due to some tourism law regarding privacy for those listed within, not told that all the rules are in this book. Now becasue this package is so big this man is going to be Mr. Nice guy and UPS it too us so we dont have to bother with it on the flight home. We were promised it in 3 days, it took 18 days to arrive at our home, and that was after my husband called to find out were it was.

Mexican law states that one has 5 days to change ones mind about this sort of purchase and then one can have all their money back. We were denied that priviledge in 2 ways.
First not being able to get the resort and rules book on time, and I can promise you that had we got it when we were suppose to I would have been not have slept until I learned how to get a refund. No matter how long it took.in fact I was even 18 days later.
Second:
Our contract says in one spot No cancellation, and in another spot says that we can. Now our salesman went to great lengths to inform us that we could not cancel, because we were actully buying a plan, that someone else had bought but was reselling in order to update to more points. OH, I say "if we are not happy with this you will sell it for us", the man looks down at me and impatiently says, "Well yes I just told you I am selling this for someone else, it may cost you a couple of dollars to re-write everything but yes I will sell it for you, but you will be so happy you bought this...
Not to mention that he did write out in big letters, "no cancellation" on what we thought was our contract however, that piece of paper was not in the papers we had when we left the resort.
Here comes some of the stories, that convinced us this what the right thing to do.
The points we bought were enough for 2 couples at the times of year we like to travel, we would always get at least a one bedroom unit, cooking facitlites, so we could be self maintained and not have to pay the all inclusive fees. Wrong!!! Not enough points for that need to download more, at another cost. The whole point system is just a joke, you loose them if you have to cancel, depending on the time or you have to pay a cancellation fee. You only get a percentage of them if you use the next years...
We were told no problem ever with cancelling, in fact just book your favoirte resort way in advance to be sure you can get in when you want to, or book a couple then decide were you want to go.
We will have someone pick you up at the airport and deliver you back, not true... One must pay the all inclusive fees, and theres more...

But! I want to move on, to trying book a reservation even 8 months in advance. The long and short of it is, they could care less about you. Until you stop your monthly payments, then nice and sweet they phone... Now they are taping these sweet calls, not the ones were they hang up on you because your so frustrated and you say I have paid you almost $18,000.00 dollars to do a job for me, book me a holiday please, and no I dont want to pay the all inclusvie fee, I was told I didnt have to. Then you say thats it. I am going to my lawyer and your going to here from him.
Mr. Mexico"s voice says to me "I dont have to take this lady... You signed a contract and you cant get out of that... Or, the other one that laughed when I said what about pick up at the airport. OH NO lady... You take the bus.
If you check out their web site you will see they have so many people waiting to take your calls. I think somewere it says they have over 100 operaters, that too is a joke, or maybe they do, just they must all be lined up at the washroom waiting to take a leak, maybe they only have one washroom for all that staff.!! Oh I know what it must be, they have 100 operators, but in a week they only work 14.3 of them per day. I think I always got the. 03 operator.
Seriously I have talked to people that have spent many hours on several occasions waiting to talk to someone, anyone.
Mr. President, John, maybe you should go in for a day and see what the problem is, answer a phone or two and maybe you will find out the shaby things that are going on.
In closing; Read all about it people, search out this company on the internet, you will see the same story over and over, and the only way I know any of the folks is because I did the search and learned I was not alone, we have never met never conspired this whole thing up, its not a lack of communciation with Royal Holdiays employees like some poor ignorant employee tryed to suggest on this site.
Poor guy, probably only worked for the company for 5 minutes and it was his first mandatory assignment. Just like the very very few reports of real people having had a good holiday with Royal, they too must be new staff.
If you too have been unfortunate enough to have trusted someone that sold you a Happy PLan a vacation for life... Please get involved, there are people that will support you and help you.
Thanks for reading all this. I was hoping I would feal better talking about it all, and I do somewhat, but not $18,000.00 dollars worth of betterment.
