Georgia Medical Institue is a joke. I had back surgery in Sept. Of 2004 being I could not go back to my old job of sitting at a computer for 8 hours a day, I thought I would change my career altogether. So I went to GMI and told them about my predictiment. I have always wanted to help people so I was interested in the "Pateint Care Technican" program I told them I could do no heavy lifting. They told me I would only be doing vital signs, making beds, EKG's, Drawing Blood... No lifting, so I signed up. Well come to find out you have to lift the pateints!!! I feel like they totaly ripped me off! Just to get my money. Now no one will hire me cause I can not lift pateints, and to do EKG's or Draw Blood they do not tell you no one will hire you unless you have at least 2 years experince! So now I have no job and noway to pay me OUTRAGEOUS!!! Bill for going to school which I can't even use! I hope there is a lawyer out there who reads this and can help me.
