Nationwide Tax Relief
Scammed me over $2300.00

I fell, in desparation, for the infomercial put on by Nationwide Tax Relief and received a letter from them stating that I turned down an installment agreement they set up for me with the IRS. I have never received an installment agreement from the IRS via Nationwide Tax Relief. Therefore, no Installment Agreement was ever rejected by myself. I also contacted Senator Chambliss office and his office has confirmed that no one from Nationwide Tax Relief has been in contact with them ever about my case.

When I first contacted Nationwide Tax Relief, I was assured that my case would be handled in the most professional manner and was also promised positive results while discussing my case with your tax advisor, Linda Stevens.

However, after remitting payment to Nationwide Tax Relief in the amount of $2000.00 (via a credit card), Nationwide Tax Relief stopped taking my phone calls. Immediately after making full payment to Nationwide Tax Relief, the communication breakdown began. It was after weeks of protesting and threatening to sue for a full refund is when I first received contact from the assigned attorney, Ronald Wisansky.

Even after our initial contact, there were many times when I could not reach my assigned attorney and I was subsequently told by a receptionist at Nationwide Tax Relief that you (Mr. Wisansky) were no longer with Nationwide Tax Relief. When I informed you of this, you gave me your home-office number and instructed me to telephone you at your home and to never call Nationwide Tax Reliefs offices again. You also explained that you were in semi-retirement and that you were going to handle the remaining cases you had with Nationwide Tax Relief from your home.

When we finally made contact, I still felt uncomfortable to the point of informing you at one point that I felt that Nationwide Tax Relief was working against me not for me in hopes to resolving my tax issues with the IRS. I submitted every document that was requested which resulted in over $300.00 of copying/faxing costs.

In July the IRS placed a levy against my bank account that resulted in placing my account in a minus (-)$1200.00 balance. When I contacted the IRS on July 7, the agent informed me that the reason for the levy is because they never heard from me and never heard of you or anyone at Nationwide Tax Relief and he also informed me that there was nothing on file indicating that I was being represented by Nationwide Tax Relief or any of their agents or attorneys.

While on the telephone, the IRS agent also informed me that the records showed that no one from Nationwide Tax Relief ever contacted the Taxpayer Advocates office. After orally submitting and sending to the IRS agent all of the information requested (that I sent to you to give to them, but never received from you), the IRS lifted all levies against me; and a subsequent amicable settlement and installment agreement was finally reached on September 4 without any intervention or help from Nationwide Tax Relief or its agents.

After talking to the IRS agent in Kansas, I telephone you (Mr. Wisansky) immediately on 7 July. After explaining what happened, you informed me that you would get back with me. However, I never heard from you again until I received the enclosed letter - filled with false and misleading information.

The only thing that Nationwide Tax Relief did was steal over $2300.00 from me and caused me further financial hardship.
