I placed an order for a prescription medication on the internet through this company. After doing so, I immediately cancelled my order (in Email form). I wrote to them telling them to CANCEL my order and do not ship me a substitute. Even after repeated request, NOT to substitue my order but to CANCEL it completely. However, they billed my credit card.
In my emails to Direct Pharmacy, Inc. I pointed out details for my decision to CANCEL: 1. My cancellation was sent well within the Federal Governments time requirement of 72 hours. 2. Terms and Conditions reads... Processing fee of $9.95, I was charged $19.95.3. Orders are non-refundable - yet you offered a refund of all ($112.95) minus $45.00 as a restocking/cancellation fee. 4. Your $45.00 restocking fee is above the Federal Govements Guide Line. 5. You failed to disclose the name of the non-prescription product you intended to substitute and ship. 6. After receiving an email 10 days after canceling that a shipment had been sent. You were notified that nothing from Direct Pharmacy, Inc. Had been received.
After receiving an email putting the responsibility of the error on myself I called their 800 number (606-8190). Laura stated that once Direct Pharmacy, Inc. Receives a tracking number it is out of their hands and is the responsibility of the Postal Service. This is untrue - it is the senders' duty to choose the correct course to insure delivery.
She also stated that I had to file a police report saying that I did not receive the product. This I did with our local police department (07-1709). To date I have not received a refund on the credit card. Direct Pharmacy, Inc. Should never had acted on this order.
