I volunteered to take a survey for a chance to win a laptop. Onlingo came as something I would be interested in trying. I received the package on 7/12 11:30 A.M. [had to sign for it], listened to the cd and sent them an email to cancel on 7/12/07 3:30 p. M [kept email copy]—already have that level. They debited my account $69.95 on Friday 7/27 after 3pm.
There phone lines are busy for at least 15 minutes, they did respond with the email message requesting me send their cd back. It took 2 days to get here so maybe they'll clear the $69.95 off after they get the package in their hands.
Their email response:
You have cancelled during your free trial period. As specified in the Terms and Conditions to which you agreed, we now ask that you please return the Interactive CD-ROM to:
Onlingo Returns
P.O. Box 1566

Before you ship the product, let us tell you about todays special discounts:
1. We encourage you to keep Level 1 for only $29.95. You save $40.00 over the regular price. Why spend money on postage or go through the trouble of sending it back? For $29.95, you will learn numbers, letters, greetings and other fundamentals while traveling the world with Onlingo...
They knew they had charged me for more than shipping. So, i am reporting them to the survey group they are listed on and the better business bureau.
