I signed up with T-mobile for the first time in May in Columbus, OH. When I got the contract at a store in OH I was told by the sales rep that my plan included the exchange of my phone for a new one every 11 months. I relocated to Florida and last April I exchanged the phone I got in OH on May for a new one in Plantation, FL without any problems. I went again this April to exchange the phone for a new one and was told by the sales rep that I could not get a new phone and that I had to wait another year. The rep said I was on a two year contract and would have to wait an extra year. I was Not aware that I was on a two year contract or would have to wait an extra year to obtain a new phone. I was very dissapointed by the way the service by T-mobile was misrepresented to me. Originally when I started my services with T-mobile in 2005 I was told I could exchange my phone every 11 months for a new one as part of the contract but last week when I went to exchange the phone that was not the case. The rep did not want me to get the new phone for which I am eligible for and asked to call the customer service Ph# 1-800-937-8997 to see if I would get a discount instead on a new phone. I was very dissapointed with the services of T-mobile and the fact that they changed my contract with out my knowledge. I will like T-mobile to be contacted regarding this matter and have promt resolution to this matter.
