The first year with Homecomings they were not collecting enough escrow funds to pay our taxes. When they got the tax bill, they paid it, and then adjusted out escrow payments. Approximately $250.00 a month more. Then a few months later they adjusted our interest. And seem to be on a tear to adjust the interest by 1.5% every six months till they reach the limit on our mortgage (12.99%)
They have charged late fees beginning with the first increase in escrow payment because we failed to cover the escrow increase. Since then it has been practically impossible to keep current on our payments. The increase in escrow and interest has made it hard for us to keep up with other debts and now our credit score is so bad we cannot find anyone to refinance.
I am all ready working two full-time jobs and my wife also works full-time. So American Dream.
Is there anyone out there that can help us? I don't even know what good filing this report will do.
