The first time I had noticed AP9 Bargain Homes W charges on my credit card was in March. I didn't recognize the name so I started checking my credit card's past statements. I was appalled and am embarrassed to say they have been charging my account $39.80 since March.
I emailed my credit card company and told them not to honor charges from this company. However, they continued to pay and charge my account.
The next month's statement showed a charge from AP9 Bargain Homes W. I decided to do a Google search on this company and saw the articles about them being fraudulent. I'm embarrassed to say that I dropped the ball in following up and calling this company.
I went to this company's website and saw that they provide lists of foreclosed properties in your locale. Then I remembered I had done a search on foreclosed properties for a friend of mine.
However, when I added up all the months this company has received via my credit card plus interest and finance charges - it is a substantial amount that they have "stolen" from me. I am not dropping the ball this time!
