Hired Innovative Tax Relief in January. They took $ 4,300.00 out of my checking account with all kinds of promises to get me back penalities and interest. I paid all of the taxes, $ 236,000 and Innovative said they would get me back at least $ 85,000 in penalities and Interest.
Now it is May and I cant get a decent answer out of Innovative Tax Relief nor their employee Mr. Richard Hargus. On April 24th Mr Hargus finally talked to my attorney and promised him that before he left the office that evening that he would e mail all of the paperwork that he had done with the IRS and the State of California.
Of course, nothing arrived and Mr. Hargus did not return any further phone calls or e mails.
Yesterday May 1, I finally got Mr. Hargus on the phone and explained to him all of the problems and that I had talked to the IRS that morning for 2 and a half hours and their research did not show that anyone had contacted them regarding an abatement of penalities and interest.
Mr. Hargus assured me that was not true and that before he left his office that evening that he promised to e mail me or fax me all of the work he had done with the IRS and the State of California. I informed Mr. Hargus that his promises were no good because this was the exact promise he had made to my attorney 10 days earlier. Mr. Hargus promised me faithfully that before he left his office he would send me the items requested.
Needless to say, nothing arrived last night nor today so far and I really do not expect to hear from him. I spoke with his supervisor Ms Erika Gokdokhanian and explained everything to her and she assured me that she would have Mr. Hargus call me, still waiting.
