Richard Hargus EA was assigned to me after i contacted United states tax relief agency. I was told that for a fee of 2250.00 that they would settle my tax debt with the IRS and save me thousands. They wanted the money up front so i had to go borrow it from a local loan company. Now i have a 255.00 payment with them and a year and a half later, No results.
After the IRS has sent another levy to my employeer, I called them only to find out that he has'nt done anything for me. He also made a deal with the IRS for me to pay 250.00 a month. I was never told of this deal he made so, of course, It defaulted and I get in trouble with the IRS again.
After numerous emails and calls, I have failed hear from him. So, I call the IRS and set up a payment plan for 350.00 a month. I feel so foolish for falling for this scam and want my money back. I need to pay my loan off so i can afford to pay the IRS. Ps. All this time that Mr Hargus was "supposed " to be negotiating a settlement, My debt has been accrueing a hefty penalty and a lot of interest.
Don't fall for ant tax relief agency scams, they will just rip you off and they are getting away with it every day. They are feeding on the financially weak.
