I received a letter from something called "The Nouveau Tech Society" and it read that I was being invited to join some secret society thing for Free. Imagine That! I do admit I was curious. I read the so - called letter and began to laugh.
I was invited to join, and send or fax back the invitation letter by 3 days. I was skeptical. So... I decided to check out the "Society."
Next, I typed in the term Nouveau Tech Society on Google and found it was a scam. Apparently after one sends back the invitation, a book is sent and you are charged $138.00 for it or another book. Then more letters keep coming.
I am hoping that more people will be helped by this report and not get caught in this scam. Now, one needs to ask, "Where did the society get my address?" Hmm... I'll leave that to someone else.
I am learning that it's best to research and then make a decision about stuff on the internet. I must admit that if I had done research and checked out offers, I would have saved myself some time, money and effort.
