Learning Annex
Fraud. Real Estate and Wealth Expo

Many one page ads were placed in the San Francisco Chronicle and ads in the Learning Annex's own program guide which advertise "THIS WEEKEND CAN MAKE YOU A MILLIONAIRE!" pay $49 (plus a registration fee on the phone)'[ and learn real estate and wealth knowledge by speaker/"experts". I paid and attended.

The "expert" spent approximately 98% of the time selling their courses... And 2% of time teaching. Example, the program page 24 advertizes "Saturday Only! Real Estate Flipping James Smith 6:30-8:30". I attended and he spoke nothing about flipping.in fact he never used the word flip or flipping. He used racist comments to entertain and chuckle the class.

For example he used stereo racist comments like "short Mexican", "short Taiwanese woman was like a belly button cleaner", "blacks turning purple", "I don't need the Chinese couple in the front row"."Can you speak English 'affluently'" refering to an immigrant from Mexico.

Don Burnham advertized "What and how you will learn: How to secure the purchase of property with effective contracts; how to lip properties for the maximum possible profit, etc". He DID NOT teach us anything, but wasted our ENTIRE TIME SELLING his course. All courses were approximately $995.00 per the speaker agreements with the Learning Annex.
