I recieved my phone over the internet. It came with a contract to sign and send back with a copy of my license. I actually never sent any info back to them.
Around a month and a half later i recieved a bill for a service i never activated. Thats how i realized that the phone was active i tried to explain this to customer service, as the bills started to come along. Then 4 days after i realized the phone was active the screen went blank.
For 45 minutes each, time i waited to talk to someone to resolve this issue, but it became overbearing. After a few more failed attempts to resolve this issue i gave up.
The balance of 264 went to collections and was cut in half, which was 3 months ago. Today which is july 22nd of 2002 i recieved a bill for 503.18 with a termination fee and past money.
How can they charge a termination fee when there was no contract and they are still charging a service charge when the plan "or non existant plan" has been cancelled and already gone to collections.
