Network Communications International Corporation Used phone-number similiar to Canada Direct to profit from mis-dialed calls

After inquring about a very high charge on my phone bill.

If one is in North American and dials
1-800-555-1111 one get's the Canada Direct number, and can use a Bell Canada calling card

If one accidentally dials:
1-800-555-5111 one gets almost exacly the same "Welcome to Canada" message - can still use a Bell Canada calling card and when one receives one's phone bill, discovers that one is billed at about $2.65 a minute.
