Startup Essentials has ripped me off. I was not sure until I took a look at consumer complaints. Then i was surprized that there were so many like myself.
I read a number of reports and heard that the others had the same sales pitch given to them over the recorded phone call.
That lasted for at least 2 hours. I fell for it took the first step and went on the Journey. All I had to do was sign my name on the computer "Electronic Signature" But my time was running out I would not be Qulified if I had to think about it.
It was a done. Now I get to be on this journey, and pay only 139.39 a month for 4years And I also got this cheap little lap top as part of the deal. Well - what was I thinking= I did not need a computer I was using one to get signed up.
I would get All the help I needed to get my web site up and running. This was in mid-Nov, 06 I did not know exactly why I had to pay a 48 month lease for a cheap $500.00 laptop and all the help I needed with a web builder, drop shippers list, and an account with chase bank. I told the man I did not know a thing about running a web site or very much about business lingo.
Well I gave it a try and not too long into the books and the videos and the lessons It was too overwelming. Tried to call a coach but they were not home. Chat line was not on either.
What am I to do Im on a fixed income needed to make a little money they said thousands but i did not believe it. I would be happy with anything over the amount they were getting each month, to start with.
I thought i was being very logical thinking this way. I told him that this was way over my head. But he insisted they would be there for me it would be easy and I could be earning 5000.00 a month in no time.
I did not want to have to learn the ins and out of meta tags and all that other crap.
But i am a bit more informed now. I did a little exploring there are honest people out there who really can help with web building or what ever it takes to get a site up and running.
Oh yes I still dont know what the heck Im going to sell. I need to break this lease now. I will go to the bank and stop the payments. Before nothing is left for me. What else can I do.
