I am so greatful for locating this site. Just recently, I have been speaking with "Heidi Strauss" (if that's her real name). I was told that I would need to pay $449 fee for a $250,000 grant.
That just seemed a little odd to me because I had not even explained exactly what type of business I need the money for. I was told that you can only apply for one grant from the government per year; that after sending the $449 cashier's check, I would receive time sensitive documents that I should return in 3 days; that it will take 4 weeks from the date of payment to MGR and a 8-10 week response time to hear from the government.
They told me that I should keep the receipt from the cashier's check and just write off the cost at the end of the year. A couple of things raised a flag for me, especially the fact that "Heidi Strauss" has given me phone numbers: 877.931.2249 and 713.589.6240 and now that has changed to 713.589.6234. I have only been talking with "Heidi" since December 9.
And to the person who referred to how great of an experience you had with MGRToday... Sure they are nice... However, I couldn't help but notice that you did not directly say you successfully received grant money as you needed or that you wre received any beneficial help from them. Having great conversation with "Scammer Reps" doesn't constitute why people should be taken advantage of.
