We received a call from a telemarketer about a grant and we were interested. Then we were told to send a $ 1,250.00 deposit to start the paper work. They then asked for another $ 1,250.00 and told us that the if we did not get a grant in the first year the second year was free. We then were told that they needed supplemental documents, at first I refused, but then we received a call saying that they had a grant and needed $ 5000.00 and the supplemental documents and said we would receive a grant in 30 to 45 days.
The time frame came and went I call all the time, only get voice mail. Their web site has been shut down, so I assumed that I got scammed.
