I purchased a $3.95 cd fom what I thought was a ebay help line for selling ebay products online. Then a month later I got a charge of $49.00 then the next month another $49.00 and this month another $49.00. I called them and told them to cancel this and they never gave me a cancelation number over the telephone.
Because I did not read the fine print they told me that my account was charged $49.00 monthly along with the charge of $14.95 since Oct; then again each month there after I was billed electronically for $14.95, plue $49.00 from this SEOGUIDE, Las Vegas, Nevada.
After calling EBay I was connected to the Administrative Offices at 1 800 595-3986 and told all of the above reasons and possibly the will credit my account within 3 to 10 days. This time I got a confirmation number. But I will not get the full amount, even if I did not use the service?
I really believe that this is a rip off, because technically, I did not use the ebay account and make any transactions with the public, nor did I establish a bank account with PAY PAL either.
