There was a recent article in The New Haven Register, an Associated Press story, about defective helicopters made by Sikorsky Aircraft of Stratford, CT, a subsidiary of United Technologies of Hartford, CT stating that a government official stationed at the plant found that the Sikorsky manufacturing process lead to defective helicopters. Connecticut Post did not cover this story nor publish the Associated Press article.
My newsletter, originally called The Bridgeport Post Newsletter, had a long series of articles on defective Sikorsky helicopters and all the information was given to me by Sikorsky employees.
This was some seven or eight years ago and the information I rendered went unreported by Connecticut Post (Bridgeport Post), the Hartford Courant, amomg other publications. Due to a complete breakdown of my computer's hard drive, all this stories are now gone but some of the people, anf copanies that received my reports, including Sikorsky and UT must have copies. I will relate some facts I retained from memory.
A group of concerned Sikorsky employees, calling themselves The Sikorsky Five, met with top officials of Sikorsky and UT to make them aware of the fact that local officials st the Stratford plant were allowing helicopters with defects to be passed as being okay. These employees were thanked by top management but they later noticed that nothing was done to correct the probelms they reported.
People were killed and are being killed because of faulty helicopters but Sikorsky and UT have done nothing to correct the problem but what they did do, is to outsoure all the manufacturing of US helicopters to foreign nations and laying off or transferring workers that work on the manufacturing of the helicopter.
George David, UT's CEO, is fully aware of the facts in my newsletter and the facts regarding the allegations against Sikorsky buy when I spoke to him on the phone at his home, at that time, he played ignorant of the allegations involved.
