Rick Stitt of Stitt Industries or now Liberty Technologies has taken me for over $10,000.00. I am a single mother from the town of Ottawa, Kansas. I own a commercial building that I tried to lease to Rick Stitt and Stitt Industries in September; knowing nothing about Mr. Stitt and his shady past. Within one month of Rick Stitt entering into a lease agreement with me, he had written me a bad check for rent for $1000.00, destroyed the inside of my building, damages estimated at $6000.00; making it unleasable and not up to City Codes any longer, refusing to pay me, and just get out of my life.
I have been battling Stitt through the Franklin County court system since January with no end in sight. I now have attorney fees upwards of $4000.00. I have fallen behind on my mortgage on my property due to Mr. Stitt.in February the Judge presiding over our case ordered I give Mr. Stitt back his property in lieu of Stitt paying a $3000.00 bond.
According to the judge, this was for the greater good of the public; because of all the business and potential business and employees Mr. Stitt could have if he had his property. Needless to say, Mr. Stitt has yet to come up with the $3000.00 bond; and I still have possession of all of his or from what I have read "not his" property. If you have done or have tried to do business with Mr. Stitt please look out; He is not honest, he will take you for all you have, and as of today he does not have possession of anyone's helicopters or parts - I do. If he has told you he is keeping them in storage, that again is another lie.
I have been doing all I can to catch this dead beat of a guy who claims to be a business man; a business man in the business of scamming and ripping honest, hard working citizens off. The town of Ellsworth, Kansas; all I can say is: BEWARE
