I wanted to go back to school, I needed to attend an online Univ due to my location and time constraints. It sounded great. Once they got me "in" it started. I was told it would be $895 per class. I wanted a degree to teach Elementary kids.
After six classes I was told I was now in a Business Program and was told I needed to take classes that didn't apply. Then teachers wouldn't reply to questions, then I was dropped from classes, not given a chance to discuss it, and then sent a bill for $30,000??? Now when I went to school 6x9 was not $30,000.
I was told I didn't qualify for any grants - no reason - just didn't - but I did qualify for a student loan - guess who owns the loan company? AXIA college. The fox is running the henhouse here. Be very careful before you sign up.
I can't get anyone to answer my questions at the school. I am in the process of contacting the accreditation folks as well as BBBs and District Attorney's offices in my home state of CA as well as in AZ. Has anyone else had problems with them? Is it time for a class action?
