Fidelity Credit Services
Scammed me on a credit card offer, drafter $129.95 out of a savings account and I opened in my name and my son's name, he is disabled and 30 years old. He cannot make financial decisions because of a mental illness

Fidelity Credit Services should not be allowed to stay in business. They scammed me for $129.95. I went on line yesterday to check them out and found your report, which prompted me to leave work early and go straight to my bank and file a report for an unauthorized withdrawal from a savings account that was set up in my name and my son's name.

My son is mentally disabled and cannot make financial decisions or handle money. I was appointed his legal guardian again in he is 30 years old. His disability checks go into this account. They are sent to me in my name as his guardian and in his name by Social Security.

I had to close this account because the bank said Fidelity may try to draft it again. This has cost me time, money and heartache especially here at Christmas.

I work 2 jobs to support us. It is so unfair that they can legally get by with scamming people such as myself and others like me.

I also put a new message on my home phone (which is unlisted and non-published, so how did they get it) because another company with a 727 area code called me two nights ago and tried to get my bank account number. Who do you think gave them my name and telephone number!!!

I changed my personal greeting on my phone to now not only include the telephone number and ask that people please leave a message, but it also says anyone calling from area code 727 better not leave me a message or call this number again. I said I would report them to the better business bureau in my state and their's.

I am hopeful that I will get my money back, it was for my son's Christmas present.

I contacted Fidelity after reading your reports yesterday and tried to tell them to put the money back in my account, but was told I could not cancel until I received their "packet" in the mail. I had no idea they were not a credit card company and that you had to call other companies to try to get a card until I read your report. People saying when they did call these companies Fidelity's booklet gave them that they were asked for $300, $400 or $500 more in fees.

Thank you for being there for people like me. When something in your gut and your heart tells you to beware, you need to listen.

I will let you know if I am successful in getting my money back, and how long it takes, so others that have been scammed can do the same.

Happy Holidays to you and my fellow scammed friends!
