Do NOT use this company whatever you do!!!
I was searching for a job and had signed up for several emails to alert him to new jobs in the area. Not realizing the scam, I signed up for the free booklet offered for $1.95 shipping and handling. This is all the information the website he went to had.
It did not contain any information on any sort of 14 day free trial of any sort, or anything. Even the website itself said it was an ebay company! There was no mention of a monthly fee or anything regarding monthly charges or automatic debits from my account. I got the free pamphlet of info, realized it was a scam and thought nothing more of it. (luckily I saved it instead of throwing it away!)
Until this month, that is. I saw a 39.95 charge on my debit card, called the bank for information and they gave him this number: 1-800-930-9932 (which I've noticed seems to be different from most others used on here.
I spoke with a useless girl who refused to listen or try to understand my point. I asked to speak to a supervisor.instead she went and spoke to him and came back with this half refund offer. I was super pissed at this point... Because I didn't sign up for this— nor did I want it. I asked again to speak with a supervisor. Finally, Raul (#1904) got on the phone. He was very hard to understand as he had a thick accent. I explained to him what had happened and that I did not agree to such a service. He said by requesting the $1.95 information, I signed up for it. I told him that it was not included in the online pages but he refused to listen. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he stated he was the highest. I said "That's funny... Do you OWN the company?" And he said no... I said "Well then you're not the highest." He then told me that the COO does not take calls from customers. I told him " I bet he will take a call from either the Better Business Bureau and/or my lawyer." He told me to take whatever means I felt necessary. Finally I stopped talking to this idiot and told him the cancel it and refund my money. He said he could only do the half refund.
I am still going to pursue the $20 they owe me. I am currently on a SMEAR campaign to ruin their reputation even more. (Although they have done a damn good job already.) I have launched a massive email, sent letters to job boards concerning the company and their ads, letter to Ebay, this and others to follow. Next I will call the police in Long Beach and the BBB. I am sure that this will reach tons of people.
In response to the Ex Supervisor for Online Supplier on this website. I was NEVER once contacted to be sure the information was my own and that I wanted their services. There was nothing in the paperwork that even remotely mentioned a monthly fee for services. And as far as I am concerned... You worked for them... So you are a low life too.
