I have dealt with Vanderbilt Mortgage & Finance when our loan with Oakwood was sold to them. Amazingly after looking into this company I find that Oakwood and Vanderbilt are owned by the same corporation. I find that many of our experiences with them all mirror what everyone has been going through.
We have recieved no less than 4 letters of forclosure, 6 payment books all with different amounts, endless amounts of calls from them and other situations too numerous to mention. To say that I am angry is an understatement.
I will be meeting with an attorney tommorrow and filing a class action lawsuit against this company. My intention is to put a stop them from doing business in any capacity!
I say it is time to stop them and a collective law suit could accomplish just that as well as enlighten the public to what they have been doing. The good mortgage companies in business never handle clients the way that vanderbilt handles theirs. My mission is to put them out of business and keep them from preying upon another person, ever. There is power in numbers so collectively we can get some type of satisfaction.
