I saw them on careerbuiler, so in July I ordered a barcareers course from this company for an alleged job as a bartender. The company was very enthusiastic while they were taking my money, but when I contacted them two weeks later to inform them I hadn't received my package that they claim they sent Priority mail, they became unfriendly and defensive.
In August I called them again to tell them I hadn't received my package and that I wanted my money back—they stated that they would have to receive the package back before they could refund my money. I told them that I NEVER received the package and that they should have required that the recipient sign for the package because the package could be anywhere if they had indeed sent it. They stated that they had a confirmation that I received the package, and I stated that they cannot confirm that I received it if I didn't sign for it and that all packages sent to me previously from other companies had been received.
At one point they lied and told me they were going to refund my money and they told me to call my bank for a reference number for a return of funds to my credit card, but when I called them again, they said they had to wait for the package that I did not receive to be returned to me. So I'm supposed to be responsible for a package they sent out.
After going back and forth with this company, I decided to check with a few agancies to see if this company could actually certify me as a bartender and was told that they CANNOT, which mean they misled me, I was told it would take an additional $800 to become certified in the state that I live in, meanwhile this company gives the impression that all I have to do is order their course and take a test and get a job really easily. Their website is a joke. The last time I checked, they had one person on there who talked about getting a job.
