First he said he was in England and was going to Nigeria on a contract. His career he said is Civil Engineer. 24hrs later online he says in Nigeira. Anyway had told me he had 2 children sent me photos, 1 boy 12yrs/1 girl 15yrs. Had sent me photo of whom he said was him. They were staying with the nanny. We chat online alot.
Gave me phone no to ring, 2348065176575. I rang it and an english voice answered. Yes he said he was Ralph. Tried to talk but phone kept cutting out. Went on line and he said bad connections there. This would happen alot whilst chatting. Appeared to have 2 different chat sites. IM ralknw, and ralph_samuel_knowles. Email under the same name @yahoo.com.
Then he comes on line and tells me ha had a nasty accident at work. Tracto had failed gear and left a bad wound in leg. His story to me says that he was rushed to hospital for treatment but they wouldnt treat him until he paid. Couldnt cash travellers chegue bank wouldnt do it. Had $200 dollars in pocket gave that to them. Still no treatment. Was down payment. So i sent him $600 australian.
Keeps telling me couldnt get it out had i done it right. I contacted Western Union twice they said nothing was wrong he should have it.in the end he said he had just got it that day they finally released it. He maintained due to the bleeding and weakness he would have to send his personel assisstant. Akanfe Abimbola Oluwatuyi to pick it up. Question Who is this. Answer Husband brother. Oyo State Nigeria. That was the information on Western union form. Well anyway first the amount he needed was $800 the $900 then he said $1,800.
Comes on line again later and says that the treatment has started. The doctor said he could make payments but had to be weekly as the hospital management would get onto him. He gave me a Drs name of Dr Collins Young. Then i get email from this person saying how Ralph is bleeding badly and must have more money for treatment to finish. What then arose my suspicions is the very unproffessional way he wrote. I have been a nurse for 42yrs and i know doctors do not write like that.
Mentioned about me being Ralphs wife and that as lovers he did not have to pay back money. I have never met this Ralph. No lovers. Well to cut along story short i sent email saying i had been used and was going to uninstall all my stuff connecting to him. I then get a email calling me a heart breaker and so on. So i put across a very sad story that he seemed to believe as i felt i needed to find out more on this scam. I then get another email from Ralph saying like we both had been hurt and so on. This time i noticed it was another e mail address. [email protected]. This doctor Collins Young e mail address is [email protected].
Saying he was so dissapointed in me and that i had better pray for Ralphs health. I then sent e mail back saying how long i had been a nurse and that i had been in coference with a specialist here and we came up with a care plan where ralph is okay with stiches how to maintain his own care and then get stitches out at hospital.
I told him that i had been in touch with banks in Nigeria and must have been a mistake as they do cash travellers chegues, so for Ralph not to worry he will be able to have money. Since then i have been into (a search engine) and read alot and do not like what i have read. Plus i looked up the site aim and there is so much interesting information.
Could be students, could be an English man and a Nigerian. I would really love to know. If this is so it would be worth losing the $600 to have them stopped. Too many sad and lonely people out there. As a nurse i feel for every one that has been and is being done out of precious money. I thank you for taking the time for me.
