Scam involves breach of contract by Sears and scam by there agent Juan A. Lopez & associates. A Juan A. Lopez employee delivered a hot water heater and contended that I needed a carpenter to fit hot water heater in room. He will do it for $65.00. I gave him the check.
He presented me with a form to sign when leaving, I assumed that it was an acknowledgement of the work having been done. He says that I owe nothing. After he left and I found my glasses, I realized that the form was for a change in specifications. There were no changes in
specifications. I was being billed for another $88.00 for labor. I also noticed that he did not remove any door frame, it was not necessary.
I had previosly contracted with Sears and paid them $464.98, $209.99 for installation. Sears is now billing me for an additional $88.00. Sears is shifting their labor cost to consumers. The $88 was paid by Sears to the employee and billed to me.
