I returned the email, asking where they got my email address from. This was their answer:
Dear Russell.

We got your e-mail from our records of those who played our online lottery game.

I replied stating I had never played an online lottery game in my life.

The response is very interesting:

"It's not a mistake that you were selected for the lottery draw.

If you say you have never played our online lottery then you should be lucky to have been slected in the draws and having been a winning it's a miracle.

We have 22 winners of US$1 Million in our latest online draw and you are one the 22 people that wn US$ 1 Million each.

Also our winners are lot Americans only but rather from the whole world from Africa, Asia, Europe and here in Americas, it will also interest you to know that you are the third person who won this lottery from UK, we have one Mr Steve and Sandra each of whom won US$1 Million.

You are therefore, Advised to read carefully the first e-mail that was sent to you by James and respond to the contents urgently.

Best Regards.

Ms. Clara robert.

It appears Ms Robert failed her English exams at least... Ahem. This is nothing more than a deceptive scam and this company MUST be taken to task over this. It's plain cruel deception - you are told you've won a million - there is no mention of paying ANYTHING to get what they say you've won from thm.
