Ok so luckily I read this site before I signed up for Typeinternational, but let me explain why that I believe this is a rip off. Keep in mind this is just my opinion. I recently looked into their mail list compiling position. I read the information given and it stated "s a Mail List compiler you will be doing just that - Compiling Mailing Lists!
No Selling - No Recruiting!
Just follow our simple step by step instructions to compiling mailing lists and earn an unlimited income.
You will earn $1 for every address you compile.
Doesn't sound like much - But just imagine how many addresses you can compile in an hour. There are no limits!"
There was more, but you get the idea. Ok so this sounded really good, I was already working for a "Direct Marketing" Company and was getting no where and what I really wanted was a clerical/data entry position. So this site was just great for me. But then I checked on this site as I always do to see what people were saying and I got a bit suspicious about this company so I sent them an email asking them a bit more about the company.
I had to send the email 4 times before someone responded and whomever did respond was EXTREMELY rude by the 2nd email. They claim that you do NOT have to advertise to be a mail list compiler but take a look at what this person sent me.
"The Mail List compiling is a response based program. So, if the more you advertise, the more responses you'll get & the more earnings you'll make. You're paid for compiled responses. We also pay you for ads posted, so you can make extra money that way."
So right there isn't that stating that they are misleading people that infact you DO have to advertise there site and that the people were right that you have to advertise betweeen 100-200 websites to complete one assignment or whatever they call it.
So I send a second email saying, well it said in your website that I do not have to advertise and you are telling me I do. Then this is where they got rude and told me that it is all explained in black and white on the website and maybe I should invest a little more time reading that rather than bothering her because she has better things to do then sit here and respond to me.
I was blown away! What kind of company is this? Aren't they suppose to be "Trying" to recruit me? Not getting rude and severely p*ssing me off? I mean come on! Show some common curtousy.
So then i decided that I needed to write usacomplaints.com and let them know MY experience with this company and let it be known what an outrage I am in by the way their customer service treated me. Also I had left several messages which never got returned. People were right, the minute you question their precious "business" they get really rude with you, plus they refused to answer me about if they had any third party crednetials.
So i'd have to say this is one of the biggest rip offs around and I would not advice anyone to waste their time on it. Obviously the company's employees are "too good" to "waste" their time explaining their company to prospects.
Does anyone know of any REAL, LEGIT and LEGAL clerical/data entry business out there that you don't have to pay THEM to start up? Let me know!
