I went to UOP for almost 6 months. Then I had to file a BK and my attny told me to withdraw from class because my student loans would be put on hold.
Well, I did withdraw, sent in my paperwork and everything. About 3 days from my two classes starting. I then received a bill from UOP for $515.00. When I called to find out why on earth I had a bill, I was told that they were required to send my student loan company.
I called my student loan company and was told that UOP sent back $1800! But UOP never kept the $515.00 that I owe them... Which is ridiculous. So now I want to transfer to a reputable school and I owe. I don't know what to do... I can't get a hold of anyone from the school... Since I went to collections, no one will talk with me.
Does anyone have any ideas? I'm fortunate that my student loan company put me into forebearance until Dec this year, so I can get this straightened out and find a new school.
I'm so angry and frustrated.
