I have had a credit card with HSBC/Orchard bank for almost 2 years, i have never gone over limit, unless their finance charge put me over AFTER PAYMENT WAS WIRED

I have paid the balances in full many times, I recently reported a dispute on my card as the result of identity theft. They sent me the form. I signed it and I even called and gave them the 2 case numbers of the identity theft, police reports.

The credited me the amount I disputed at first. Then I recieved a letter saying they charged MY NEW CARD back the amounts I disputed, throwing me over my limit. They gave me the run around and said the company said I autorized it. So they put it on the new card I asked for when I discovered the fraud.

I went to use my card and before I used it I called and it said I had 191.00 available to use.

I used all of it but apprx. Ten dollars, today I received my statement saying I was over my limit 121.00, (this card has NEVER let me exceed my limit)

I paid my payments by western union every month so they could not report it as a late payment. I was charged $30.00 over limit fee,

I got them to reverse the over limit fee, because as I pointed out I never had a late payment, never went over limit (unless thier own finance charge put one or two dollars over), I paid at least $100.00 or more and have paid off my card at least 4-5 times.

I am suppossed to get a credit increase every 6 months of good payment history, by all their own accounts I have that, I have recieved 1 increase of 100.00 of which they took 25.00 for processing.

I noticed I was still having new charges charged on the new card from the company i diputed to the bank, and had reported fraud on to the police department.

I called orchard bank and was given the run around until a supervisor came on and he was so mean he made me bust out crying. This charge was done on the internet I never signed anything. I explained I was a victim of identity theft and i was supossed to be a VALUED CUSTOMER and that I had worked very hard to make payents 2 weeks early by wire service so they WOULD HAVE TO CREDIT ME RIGHT AWAY.

I also informed them that I had never disputed a charge before andi was upset that someone with my payment history, hasn't proven to them by my honesty that I didn't charge this.

Other than the one nice lady that credited me back the over limit fee, I was treated like a liar, and even was treated so badly my husband heard it, and almsot ripped the phone out of my hand because I was crying so hard, I am sick and on disability, but I have always taken special care of my card.

I was sent to department after department, telling my story over and over, I had prior to tonight, tried in vain to reach their dispute center. I got nothing but an answering machine and left many messages. They promise on their machine they will call, and as of this date I am currrently waiting for that call. I feel they recharged my account after I told them it was fraud so i would go over limit and they could charge me, Like i said i was lucky, the reversed my over limit fee, because of my payment history.

They stick to their terms when it benefits them, I recently sent for my credit reports (to see what this person who stole my identity has done) and they have not shown any pay offs I have nothing of orchard bank on my credit reports. I was promised in their terms to have a positive report. I complied to their terms and I have, I was promised reviews of my payment history for credit increases and have been denied everytime I have asked for oone except one, where they gave me only 100.00 and took 25 of it for processing.

I know my situation isn't as bad as some I read, but take care of you have their card and are a victim of identity theft, you don't stand a chance with them no matter how good your payment history is, you will be a victim twice.

As for my credit increases I was told by a customer service rep when I complained i hadn't received one in a year and a half that they only review every six months, that would mean I have 3 more increases coming. They don't increase your limit by your history with them. They do it by your overall equifax credit and since I was a victim of indentity theft, and took care of my dying father. I had to file bankruptcy because the person who stole my identity ran all over town ruining my credit, so your payment history with them doesn't matter unless it is negative to you.
