I found the web site on the Yahoo shopping link, (www.peppermint-lane.com) So I thought it would be safe. The company is called peppermint lane. They sell houshold decorative items.
I ordered 2 items, paid for both the items and the shipping. After 2 weeks when I did not recieve any of the items, I sent a letter to the e-mail address provided by the web site for shipping questions. ([email protected]) My e mail was never answered.
After a coulple more days when my e-mail went unanswered I sent an e mail to the address I had off of the confirm order the company had sent to my e-mail. I never recieved a reply
I looked over the entire web site and got a pyisical street address and sent a letter requesting my products be shipped or my money be refunded. I never recieved an answer.
I even called the phone number I found on the web site (727-692-0599) and got only a voice mail that was music and no information about the company.
I obtained a copy of the transaction description from the credit card company and called the phone number listed on that transaction (727-784-5114. Only recieved an automated voice message saying "please leave message".
I have copies of the letter, the original order I placed, and the confirmation letter they sent to me. Nothing I have done has gotten my products or my refund.
