I read that this company has other violations and would like to warn customers not to do business with this company should this be there Modus of Operandi.
I found the company on the iternet and contacted Alex Victorir by phone. I received an official quote # 111604-05S for refrigeration system to be shipped to the Bahamas. I was quoted $1750.00 for the services, he did not except credit card and insited on a Florida cheque. I sent him the cheque which he deposited into his Akvatek Industries Hollywood branch of Bank of America. He made many promises that he had mooved to new premises and would be a while to complete the order, after patiently waiting three months I was promised the system was being sent the next day, that it had been sent to the shipping company etc.
All was lies as he never shipped anything. Only the condenser was shipped months later. I returned the condenser to him and requested a refund of my money. He told me to return in 14 days with two forms of identification and he would give me a cheque. I returned and he was not in office. I contact CLINTON LANIER an attorny at law in Florida to send him a letter.
I quote an extract from the letter from the attorney to AKVATEK
"The State of Florida, Secretary of State has informed me that Akvatek Industries was voluntarily dissolved on the 30 th day of August. Notwithstanding such dissolution, you continued to do bnusiness under the name of Akvatek Industries Inc.
It would therefore conclude that this person continues to Rip-OFF clients without the correct documentation form the state and never has intent to delivered the promised goods.
Akvatek owes me $1750.00 for services/goods not delivered. Should I pursue the action with attornies I would soon be paying $3000.00 to get back $ 1750.00 I droped my action with the attroney, Alex Victorir relies makes money out of the same scam and told me to go ahead and sue him if I like.
