On Saturday afternoon, Dec. 17, I received a phone call and I fell in the sales pitch of Eugene Peasley from TRG in Scottsdale, AZ. He convinced me that I can make money by advertising for Amazon.com & other fortune 500 companies via internet marketing. He supposedly was giving me a 50% discount for purchasing 2 businesses right away.
The amount was $199, so I thought that it was worth the risk. Then his supervisor cqlled me to "verify" the information, and he sold me another $200 for voice activation on the ads for the websites they sell us.
I accepted, with the understanding that I can get my money back if I find out that their business is a scam, and if I can't make money.
OF course, on Monday morning, I researched RLG and I discovered that this is a pure ripoff. I called them and left a message to Eugene Peasley to call me back. At 2pm, I still didn't hear from him, so I called back and talked to the guy who answered the phone. I asked him to cancel my new membership before it is processed. He said that it's too late even before he knew when I became a member.
I told him that the transaction was not done on my credit card yet. He said that I was stuck with the program for 2 weeks before I can cancel. I would have to wait for the package in the mail, to fill in and sign the activation form and the W2 form, send them back, then request cancellation! I won't sign those forms, but I am not sure if I'll be able to get back my $399 $20/month for "hosting my website" for 4 months. They promise to return your money back after 6 months if I didn't recover my $400 in profits.
