I signed up with The Results Group, LLC on 12/01 for a home-based business as an advertiser in liason with Amazon.com. I paid a fee for the set-up information and an additional fee for the advertising package. Purportedly, I was supposed to receive a percentage of all internet purchases at Amazon.com going through my advertisements.
I visited the Amazon site and checked over all of the business information I received from The Results Group. It looked legit.
After about two month's time, I had not received any income. I called The Results Group and requested a refund. They did give me the initial refund on the cost of signing up for the business. However, they would not refund me the $250 cost of the advertising. They said that they would continue to run the advertisements at no additional cost to me until I had received a return on my investment. They refused to cancel my account with them.
I tried calling again this year to insist my account be cancelled, but their phone number has been disconnected. I have since learned that Arizona's Attorney General has filed action against them. I would like to find out if there is any way I can recieve a refund for the $250 they scammed me out of and make sure that my credit card information is no longer available to them.
