Well, well, where do I start? How about the relocation from one faraway city to Baltimore with the understanding that I could own my own business within a year. Or maybe, I should begin with the countless lies I was told built on foundations of false friendship, in order to keep me in "the business, " and draining my resources to fill up the manager's bank account? Nope, I think I will start with something much more "juicy."
After paying for my college education on my own, these jerks have me come down for an "interview, " which was really just me following some guy around cold calling businesses who wanted nothing to do with us. It was embarrassing, felt dishonest, but wanted to believe that it was true.
I chose to stay and take on a position at Advertising Endeavors, wanting so much to make my family proud. All I became was just another number to the jerks that are management. Especially to the owner, Danata. Every day we were shunned if we did not smile enough in meetings, teach tactics to new people, go out to parties with the higher ups, or if we would spend too much time with others outside the business.
Danata one day blatantly stole one of my sales that I closed, and I had to hear about how she hard closed the business owner for two days. Soon, my bank account dwindled, college loans payments were coming due, my family hadn't talked to me in a long time, old friends thought I disappeared, but I had to act like I had the best day in the world.
This business will probably change names within the next 6 months, (but it will still be a division of CYDCOR) so that they can keep recruiting people to work on 100% commission. Oh, did I mention that I was promised full benefits?
Well, I never recieved one benefit but an eye opener that there are some really horrible lying cheats out there. If you are thinking of working for one of these companies... Don't. It will break you of your integrity, rob you of your soul, and squeeze your wallet, not expand it.
They seriously spend all of their money on recruiting new people looking to "make it" and they don't give a damn anyone but themselves. It has ruined many people, don't let it ruin you.
If you care to research this, do a quick search on Cydcor companies and see just how many people were schemed by these people like Danata did to me. Oh, FYI, Advertising Endeavors was also called by 2 other names before... Wonder why it had to change names so much if its kosher?
