After I almost completed the application, I decide that the price was to high and I was not that desperate for a credit card so I highlighted my important info on the app, like, SS# Acct # phone # and backspaced, which deletes what is there. Then I closed out of the site. I did not or never had clicked on the submit button. I X'd out and closed it. Awhile later I went to my email and found a confirmation # for the credit card I ordered. I was shocked and replied right away and wrote: "Cancel, Cancel, Cancel I do not want this card."
A day later, 159.00 was deducted from my checking account. I called the 800 # and talked with a woman from EDP reporting and she told me there was not anything that I could do except file a police report for fraud. Once the police report was submitted they would investigate.
When I asked if I could talk to a supervisor, the woman told me there wasnt any thing I could do and if I called back I would be directed back to her and it would be the same answer. She was rude and refused to give me anymore information.
So, I called again a day later and talked with Melissa, again from EDP Reporting. She told me the same thing. I said that if I file a report of fraud it will be on that company for illegally obtaining my information AFTER I deleted it and DID NOT SUBMIT. She argued with me for days via email.
Well, it finally came down to this, I could get a refund, but would be charged for the application fee, which is 59.95. I can not except that as for I did not submit my application and I want a full refund. (I had 2 IRS checks bounce because of their automatic withdraw)
So I am still fighting with them but definatly do not recomend anyone at all to ever visit this site. Or is tou see anything with EDP Reorting, run like hell or prepare to put up with some snot nose operators.
