Well, where do I begin. Last summer I had purchased program guides of bargained or foreclosed homes in my area. When making the purchase over the phone, just to become a member it cost me $ 88.00 and plus shipping and handle which cost $ 10.45. I was not quite determined to just go ahead give out my credit card number, but somehow, I just gave in.
When I recieved the package in the mail about a week later, I reviewed the contents of the package, and did not find any homes in the city I was wanting. But, instead they gave information on homes around the whole state.
But, of course, I was not at all interseted in all the forclosed homes in the state, only the ones in my area. So, I wanted a refund. I called the next day, and don't get me wrong, this refund policy was within the 30 days.
When I called the # 800, to speak with a customer rep about asking for a refund, I absolutely thought it would be easy as 1-2-3. But, who thought wrong.
He told me to sign the cancellation form that was provided in the package, and reffered me a confirmation # to also write down on the sheet.
Then he adviced me to go on and mail the certain items that was needed for a refund. So, I did what he told me, and enclosed that my refund will not be credit on my credit card until after 3-6 months.
I was somewhat stunned by that, but what the heck, I thought it was okay, it did not sound at all fake, or whatever. So, I just waited, boy, was I in for something so unreal.
I never did get back my refund back. When I called again, to report the problem, well, guess what the only way, to get customer service is by going on their web-site, which I did, but they don't have one.
Now, how in the world can I contact these fools? $98.45, is the total, and now maybe there is noway I can get it. It, now maybe too late to report this to anyone, is it or is it not? There was also another charge in my credit card called Quest Saver, a program that this minipulating company had entered me in.
US National, never informed me about putting me onto that Quest Saver program nor informed me about the monthly charge that will appear on my credit card.
When I had called the Quest Saver Company, they had informed me that I became a member by US National Properties. Damn, was I so upset. There were no contact numbers to call this damn company so what the hell am I supposed to do now? HELP!
