On 9/12/05 a technician came out to the house to repair a leak in the line to the refrigerator. First thing he says to me (on the phone) that the line should not be pvc and we should get a copper line. I said no because it has been fine for the past 5 years. (Their way of upping the price more - I feel) The line just needs to be fixed. He supposedly fixed the line. (I WAS NOT HOME AT THE TIME - AWAY ON BUSINESS) He never tested the water or ice maker. (It made ice that night prior to the line breaking)
The next day my daughter went to get water and it ran non stop from the door. We had to shut off the water and wait again until repair person came back. Then he is saying it is something else now. I do not believe them. They never answer their phones - always leave a message. I said to the repair guy - it worked prior to the pvc line breaking - now it is something else - I do not believe this. (I feel because I did not opt for the copper line from them that they did something to cause this problem).
I told the repair person I wanted my money back ($101.65) since this is not fixed. He said he would have his office call as soon as he got to the office. A week and half later - no phone call back. Just had to leave another message a little while ago. Everytime you have to leave a message — that is not a way to run a LEGITIMATE business.
I am very frustrated and we need help with this to get our money back.
