Ripoff no follow up, poor customer care, expensive, non-caring, a rip-off case lost in the shuffle

I contacted A&E through Frigidaire's web site because my refrigerator's icemaker was making a noise. The tech came out and pulled out the frig and stated that it needed a tube that had a small hole in it. The inital visit was $55 and the part would be $100. I ok'd the order and wrote a check for $155 that was cashed the next day.

The part was shipped to my house within 3 days but the tech did not let us know when he was coming back. After 2 weeks he called me on and let me know he would be by the following day. I let him know that my wife's niece would be at the house since I had to work.

When he arrived he pulled out the frig and replaced the part. While pushing the frig back into place, he broke the plastic water line to the fridge and pulled the copper water line off of my cabnet base boards. Water started flowing all over the floor. He went under the sink and turned the water off at the cut off valve. He then told my wife's niece that he could not repair the damage because it was not part of the factory made fridge. He also stated that the damage was due to ware and tear even though I had just had the copper line redone 1 week prior to this service to add the cut off valve. (A good thing I did!)

I contacted a cust service supervisor who sent out a tech to survey the damage. He came out and looked at the problem and left. He did not give us any info on when it would be fixed.

I never got a call so I called back. Another supervisor told me a tech would have to go out and survey the damage. When I told her that had already been done, she stated she would have to talk to the supervisor of that tech and then get back to me.

I never got a call back so I called again. Now the supervisor of the tech is going to come out tomorrow to survey the damage. I asked when could I expect him and was told in the afternoon. When I asked for a more specific time, I was told that he would call during the day of the repair call. We will have to see if they can pull this out or if I'm just a rip-off case lost in the shuffle.
