SimpleEscapes / DealPass is charging membership fees without people's consent or knowledge. I found this accidently going over my credit card statement. I called them and they said it came about through my purchasing from a company called The Company Store. I do buy from this company but have never heard of Simple Escapes/dealPass. They charged $149.00 to my card.
I called The Company Store and talked to an investgative person (so they said) and he told me that they had also charged me a fee for year 2004. I have reported this to my credit card company and it will be in dispute but I really don't see how I will get my money back. These people are good at what they do. Watch your credit card statements closely. I found complaint accidently also by typing in these company names. This site came up with several reports on them.
