Todd Teal will offer to buy your property, use an open-ended contact, put a cloud on your title, & tie your property up for years. He then threatens you with litigation when you are finally tired of not hearing from him.
The state of Florida has filed 150 charges against him & there are several civil suits in other states. It cost us $1,500.00 to get our title cleared, but we did it because we did not let this con man intimidate us.
According to the Florida Attorney Generals Office, Teal (Walter A. Smith) has served time in Federal prison in the 80's for check fraud & he has 150 suits pending against him in Florida & several in other states. He has lost the other suits he went to court for.
DO NOT LET HIM INTIMIDATE YOU! Most of the states he operates in consider his dealings illegal & you will win your case. Collecting money will be another issue as he moves around to keep from getting caught.
I have filed a complaint with the United States Postal Service, the Consumer Protection Agency, the Attorney General in my state & the FBI to see if they can prosecute him for mail fraud. The more people who come forward, the better.
