I contacted Gary Niederhelman of Ironclad Media to request that he (he is the only one running the company) cease to send me spam after using a "free trial" which he sent me, unsolicited.
The sites Mr. Niederhelman runs are poorly designed and are unpopular, there were hardly any members to make it worth registering. It's a Flash chat site, and a poorly designed one. Just how awful the sites are is not apparent until you register so that you can use the "advanced features"
Problem is, when you follow the instructions to close your account, Mr. Niederhelman refuses to honor your desire to cease using his "service" and continues to send you spam advertising his sites.
He sends you SPAM every day advertising his sites, and though the emails have a link a the bottom for removing your account, and even though clicking on the link brings up and "account deactivated" page, you STILL receive advertisements, even weeks after repeatedly attempting to deactivate your account per his instructions.
The site has no contact information or help links at all, and when you post your problem on his problems page, he merely deletes it without responding.
Initially when I decided to close my account I managed to chat him through his site, and pointed out that his site is set-up to ignore people who want their accounts removed and wish to cease any further communication with his "service". He responded by calling me a "freeloading fagot" (he was the one that sent the unsolicited 'free' 30 day 'trial') followed by a stream of other homophobic names.
I'm still recieving email spam from this person, all responses requesting removal from his service are met with emails from his stating that you can't use the site without accepting email from him. It doesn't matter that you never use his site and that you always click on the "remove my profile" links in his SPAM's.
In short this site is not just a big scam, it's a method this psycho uses to harass people. The man obviously doesn't have a life and thrives on negative interactions with people.
I've sent more than 7 emails requesting he stop spaming me, and every email from him I click on the "unsubscrive and deactivate my account" link, to no avail.
If you contact your credit card company and fill out the appropriate paperwork whatever charges you have incurred with this illigitamate site will be reversed. However, you can never get this guy to stop harassing you and emailing you, so it's best to ignore him and to spread the word that his site is a big fraud.
