Like all others, I too was scamed and ripped off by my perfect credit. I ordered the 3 credit reports over 8 months ago and cancelled the same day. My bank card was charged for $30 after I had faxed and emailed the cancellation letter. I immediately called my bank to cancel my card and had them send me a new one, and I also tried to get my money refunded but was unsuccessful. Eight months later, I recive a phone call stating that I owe my perfect credit $216 and if I did not pay, this amount would be put onto my credit report. I tried contacting the company and they told me that the only was this could be disputed was through the collection agency. I immediately called the collection agency and they told me that I had to dispute this with my perfect credit. They told me that a letter was sent out 30 days ago which I never received.
Each person that I have spoken with was very rude and when I informed them that I was contacting my attorney and reporting them to the BBB they told me to have a nice day and hung up. I realize now that I am not the only victim when it comes to this ridiculous scam, however; does anyone know if they have actually reported this nonsense on anyones credit report? If there is anyone out there that can give me some advice, please help.
